And the Research Says . . . The big reveal takes place in 8 days!
After months of surveying NSU constituents including alumni, faculty, staff, administrator and community partners, Communications and Marketing and its partner Fuseideas developed the University's new brand positioning statement and key messages. One of the University’s strategic goals is to raise awareness of the profound impact the University has on our students, our community and the world around us. To accomplish this, we need to communicate consistently about the key aspects of Norfolk State that distinguish us. The more our key audiences see and hear clear, authentic and consistent messages about the University, the more they will appreciate our mission, purpose and accomplishments.
As you continue to talk to students, parents, prospective students, business partners and sister institutions, this guide will help speakers and writers focus on the key NSU messages we want to reinforce.
Don’t worry. We won’t make you memorize the key messages or brand positioning statement although we expect you walk the walk and talk the talk. A brand identity system, including guidelines for logo usage, NSU colors, key messages, brand positioning, etc., will be included on the NSU website as a resource for all of you campus communicators.
